Intellio’s ANPR module is recognizing the license plates of passing traffic which are stored by the system even for years, depending on the storage capacity. Additionally at least one outstanding quality image is stored from the vehicle next to the license plate. All of the recognized plates can be queried from a central database based on date or location of the recognition. The system detects license plates out of Europe weather it contains Latin, Arab, Chinese, Korean or Cyrillic characters.
